Faculty of Science

Damak Multiple Campus is a leading community campus in the eastern region established in 2038 B.S., with the effort of community. With commerce faculty in Proficiency certificate level and Bachelor level was started in 2045 B.S, under the affiliation of Tribhuvan University (T.U) and science faculty was started in 2056 B.S. with the affiliation of H.S.E.B. To make science and technology sector stronger Bachelor in science was started in 2061 B.S., with environment as major subject and physics and chemistry as minor subjects. In the present context the four-year B.Sc. program is running smoothly.

Department of Physics and Mathematics

With a dedicated team of experienced faculty members of physics and Mathematics, the Department offers a wide range of courses aimed at fostering a deep understanding of both subjects to the students. Students have access to well-equipped laboratories and resources to conduct experiments and research projects. The department also organizes seminars, workshops, and conferences to enhance the learning experience for students as well as teachers and promote academic growth. Physics and Mathematics have become the most important choices for the students as major subjects in Bachelor 4^th year . Realizing the necessity of Department in respective faculty subjects, Physics and Mathematics Department was established in 2066 B.S. to make DMC academically strong with distinctive objectives, mission and vision. It has aimed to enhance research activities both for the teachers and the students to promote public awareness to scientific activities.

Department of Chemistry

 Chemistry has become one of the most important choices for the students as major subject in Bachelor 4^th year . Understanding the necessity of Department in respective faculty subjects, Chemistry department was established in 2072B.S. to make Damak Multiple Campus academically strong with distinctive objectives, mission and vision. It has aimed to enhance research activities for both the teachers and students to promote public awareness to scientific activities. The Department of Chemistry at Damak Multiple Campus is a vibrant and enriching academic hub for students. There are dedicated and knowledgeable faculty members, the department offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers various branches of chemistry. Students benefit from well-equipped laboratories where they can conduct experiments and explore practical applications of theoretical knowledge. The department also emphasizes research and encourages students to engage in hands-on projects and analytical reasoning. The Department of Chemistry at Damak Multiple Campus provides a nurturing environment for the students of science.

Department of Botany and Environmental Science

The Department of Biology and Environmental Science in Damak Multiple Campus was established in the year 2072 B.S.  It has made focal point to create self-dependent, capable and employable manpower. It has aimed to enhance research activities  both for teachers and students, to promote public awareness about environment, sanitation and public health. It is endlessly heading forward for scientific activities. The Department is striving to meet the demands of manpower who have degrees  in Environmental Science and Botany.
