Department of English

Damak Multiple Campus (DMC) is going ahead as the education hub in this region existing in the community -based campus since the establishment in 2038 BS. The continuous growth in education demand, the campus started to extend its subjects and faculties. English, being the interdisciplinary subject, its scope enlarged in different programs as in Humanities, Education, Management, and Science. This extension of English subject to be taught in different programs, the teaching faculties needed to be working in collaboration, so the Department of English was formed in 2049 BS. The department uses diverse pedagogy in approaching the curriculum and texts connecting the real-life situation, Art, literature, philosophy, social sciences, language, pedagogy of language and literature, history, culture, ecocriticism, technical communication, business communication, academic communication, scientific communication etc. are the contents that the department launches strategies and approaches in teaching, learning and evaluation.  These contents and sills the students acquired in these contents really have opened them the big door for the better career in future.
